Public-Private-Partnerships (PPP)

The issue of Decentralization has been part of the early royal initiatives in Jordan. As an issue of importance and pertinent significance for Jordan, Visions Center has been a great advocator of this issue and is one of the leading organisations tackling it in Jordan. Since 2010, Visions Center has ongoing projects on the issue of decentralization and local development where we conduct between 4- 5 conferences annually throughout different governorates and municipalities in Jordan with attendance at 250 on average. This is achieved in partnership with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, Ministry of Interior, and Ministry of Municipal Affairs. This project also involves working with local municipalities, NGOs, civil society, grassroots organisations, businesses, and education sectors at each of the designated areas and addresses pertinent issues for each municipality, i.e. unemployment, poverty, corruption, political passivity, access to resources and health services. Our work in Jordan resulted in a book publication (July 2011) on decentralization in collaboration with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung.

Visions Center works with Rubicon on developing digital education, as well as online trainings.
