The European languages are members of the same family; their separate existence is a myth. For sciences, music, sports, etc, Europe uses the same vocabulary. The languages only differ in their grammar, pronunciation and most common words.

Everyone realizes why a new common language would be desirable. For example, one would not need to pay expensive translators if this was the case. To achieve this, it would be necessary to have uniform grammar, pronunciation and more common words.

If several languages coalesce, the grammar of the resulting language is less difficult and more uniform than that of the individual languages. The new common language would be more simple and regular than the existing European languages. It would be as simple as Occidental; in fact, it would be Occidental.
